Who is

Schwartz & von Halen

Born in Berlin in 2013 and designed in Amsterdam, Schwartz & von Halen makes premium winter accessories: handmade leather gloves in lambskin, sheepskin, goatskin, deerskin and rare peccary, lined with cashmere, silk, lambswool and sheep fur, alongside merino beanies, scarves and earmuffs. From the first cut in the leather to the last stitch, every detail gets full attention. More than 400.000 customers worldwide, and over 12.000 reviews. Crafted for the cold. Made to last.

The challenge

We took over ad management in September 2024, weeks before the only quarter that matters. A winter brand earns its year between November and January, so there was no room for a learning curve. The mandate covered three storefronts across two continents and two currencies, each with its own audience, and the brand wanted to grow in Europe and the United States at the same time.

Our approach

We took over the American accounts first, in early September, and Europe weeks later. That order was deliberate: it put the structure in place before the peak rather than during it. We walked the full customer journey with the brand and chose a high-ticket strategy, campaigns aimed at buyers willing to invest in quality, not at cheap reach. Average order value rose 11%. Every market got its own campaign line and its own creative, from the Netherlands and Germany to the US, the UK and Australia. Four material markets became twenty-nine, and the US grew into the third largest. Creative output went from 471 ads to 2.064 across the three accounts. Alongside it we built retention campaigns, repeat-purchase triggers and offers for existing customers, so each season starts from a warmer base.

The results

Two seasons after the handover, Schwartz & von Halen was selling in twenty-nine markets instead of four, carrying more than four times the creative, and taking almost three times the orders it had before we started.
